Right to refuse service DK
We reserve the right to refuse service in certain circumstances to protect the safety, quality, and well-being of all clients and staff. These circumstances may include:
- Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late meaning there’s not enough time to complete the service without affecting other appointments.
- Clients requesting a service that could harm their scalp or hair, or that the stylist reasonably cannot achieve.
- Clients under 16 years old for certain chemical treatments (or unless a parent/guardian is present, depending on local policy).
- Hair that is excessively dirty, matted, or in a condition that makes the service unsafe or unhygienic.
- Visible contagious conditions (e.g., head lice, open wounds) — for health & safety reasons.
- No allergy test for colour services: if a required patch-test has not been done at least 48 hours before the appointment.
- Known allergies to products, especially if not disclosed.
- Clients who are visibly intoxicated.
- Behaviour that is abusive, threatening, or disruptive.
- Repeat problematic behaviour (non-payment, damage, etc.).
- Clients who have previously been banned for misconduct.
- Violation of salon rules (e.g., smoking).
- Safety or capacity concerns at the salon.
We do not refuse service based on protected characteristics (e.g., age, race, gender) — we are committed to respecting, including, and dignifying every client.
